About Us
St. Andrew Presbyterian Church of New Tampa is open to worshippers of all ages and backgrounds. In this place, we glorify God, enjoy God, and live Christ's love in our worship, learning, service, and care for each other.
Our Mission
The mission statement of St. Andrew is "Glorify God. Enjoy God. Live Christ's Love." The first two parts pay homage to the Westminster Confession of Faith: " What is our chief end? Our chief end is to glorify God and enjoy God forever ". Living Christ's love is our calling, and we seek to live Christ's love within the walls of St. Andrew and in the wider community of Tampa Bay.
Our History
It all started with seven people meeting in a home in 2000. The church was officially chartered in October 2006, and after various rental spaces, construction of our two buildings was completed for Easter Sunday 2008.
What We Believe
St. Andrew is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and a member of the Presbytery of Tampa Bay.
